On the morning of November 13, 2024, Ca Mau Petrochemical Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with the People's Committee of Ngoc Hien District, held the launch ceremony of the tree-planting “For a Green Vietnam”.

In 2024, the People's Committee of Ngoc Hien District signed a sponsorship agreement with Ca Mau Petrochemical Fertilizer Joint Stock Company. Under this agreement, Ca Mau Petrochemical Fertilizer Joint Stock Company will fund the planting of 5,000 trees in Ngoc Hien District. The trees will be planted along seven roads with a width of 3 meters, newly constructed rural roads with a total length of 36 kilometers; at two historical sites; and at six agencies and schools. The aim is to green the area, improve the landscape, and create a clean, beautiful environment. The Youth Union will be responsible for planting and handing over the trees to the local communities, who will take on the responsibility of caring for them.

This activity is part of the practical implementation of the “One billion trees planting Project for the 2024-2025 period”, as launched by the Prime Minister. It aims to protect the ecological environment, improve the landscape, respond to climate change, promote economic and social development, enhance the quality of life for local residents, and support the sustainable development of the country.

As part of the tree planting launch, Ca Mau Petrochemical Fertilizer Joint Stock Company also presented 50 scholarships, each worth VND 500,000, to disadvantaged and high-achieving students in Rach Goc Town and Tan An Tay commune, Ngoc Hien district.
