On the morning of November 8, 2024, Ca Mau Provincial Startup Assist Steering Committee opened the 2024 Ca Mau Startup Festival - CaMaUP'24. Attending the meeting was Mr. Le Van Su, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Ca Mau Province Startup Festival 2024, with the theme “Green Startup - Sustainable Development Trend”, will be held from November 8 to 9, 2024. This is a series of events with many practical and impressive activities and programs such as: startup forum (Cama-FORUM), startup competition (Cama-COMPETITION), startup connection (Cama-NETWORKING), calling for investment (Cama-INVESTMENT), product and service promotion contest (Cama-ADVERTISEMENT) with 60 booths displaying, introducing, promoting and trading startup products and services, OCOP products and typical rural industrial products of the locality.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Van Su, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that through start-up activities, innovative start-ups have aroused the desire to start a business among union members, youth, women and farmers. Thereby, many projects have achieved good results, bringing practical effects in life. Mr. Le Van Su, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the units assigned to organize events to focus on research so that the Ca Mau province start-up festival will increasingly diversify its activities. Thereby, arousing and promoting the start-up movement, innovative start-ups in the business community, youth union members, women, farmer members and students of Ca Mau. Connecting and attracting resources to develop the local innovative start-up ecosystem. Creating opportunities for exchange and learning experiences between individual start-ups and national start-up support experts, digital transformation for the province's start-up and innovation ecosystem to develop through online platforms. At the same time, invite experts with experience in innovative startups to share new thinking about innovative startups, startup ideas that the business community needs to aim for today. Focus on innovative resources for socio-economic development, create motivation for businesses, the subjects are businesses, youth, women, farmers to find solutions, think of good jobs, think of innovations for development.

Within the framework of the Ca Mau Provincial Startup Festival 2024, a startup forum with the theme “Green startups - sustainable development trend” will take place.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the startup forum, with the theme “Green startups - sustainable development trend”, had a discussion and experience sharing session with experts and speakers from domestic startup organizations and enterprises. The forum's content was related to the current trend of innovative startups, challenges and opportunities for startups towards green values and sustainable development; experience in building green brands from ideas to customer recognition and trust; assessment of opportunities, challenges and lessons from green startup competitions; assessment of the importance and solutions to promote green startups in the Mekong Delta region along with ideas on green transformation in industry. Thereby, they contribute to raise public awareness of the importance of startups. At the same time, arousing and spreading the entrepreneurial spirit to young people across the country in general and Ca Mau province in particular.
