Roads
Total length of the road system in the province area is 12,115.5 km, including: 3 national highways with total length across the province are 119.3 km, asphalted ratio reached 100%; rural transport system with total length 10,819.0 km, solidification rate reached 25.4%. in which:
- Highway 1 (National Highway 1)
Section through Ca Mau province 69 km long, beginning at the boundary Ca Mau - Bac Lieu (km 2232 +600), the end at Nam Can townlet. Particularly for the project of Ho Chi Minh road construction, the section Nam Can - Dat Mui has a total length of over 50 km (the first point of the road segment connecting to the existing National Highway 1 in Nam Can townlet, Nam Can District and the last point is at the Ca Mau Cape resort, Dat Mui commune, Ngoc Hien district) having started construction by the Ministry of Communications and Transportation.

- Highway 63
Section running through Ca Mau province with 40.4 km long, beginning at the boundary of Ca Mau - Kien Giang (km 74 +200), and the end point at Ly Thuong Kiet crossroad (National Highway 1) in Ca Mau city.
- Highway Quan Lo - Phung Hiep: 9,93 km long, beginning at Bac Lieu Province boundary, the end point at Highway 1 crossroad at Ca Mau City.

Currently the province has 2 inter-provincial bus stations, includding:
+ Ca Mau passenger bus station located on Ly Thuong Kiet Street (National Highway 1), Ward 6, Ca Mau city, reaching standard of second class bus station with area of 11,592 m2 having many activities of passenger car companies, such as Phuong Trang, Mai Linh, Tuan Hung, Van Thuan...
+ Ca Mau - Kien Giang passenger bus station located on Nguyen Trai Street, Ward 9, Cà Mau City, presently reaching standard of the fourth bus station having area of 3,098 m2.
Bus station system in districts consisting of: Da Bac, Tan Bang, Khanh Hoi bus stations...
Presently, these lines are used as last points of inner provincial passenger transport routes from city central running to districts.

Waterway
Waterway route mainly from Ca Mau - Nga Bay Phung Hiep - Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City. From Ca Mau running to district center, Ca Mau Cape, economic centers, clusters of inhabitants: Rach Goc, Ganh Hao, Bo De, Song Doc, Khanh Hoi and Nam Can townlet - Bo De Estuary shipping channel.

Waterways system in the province has 57 routes with a total length of 1,161.8km, including:
- 12 routes managed by the central government with a total length of 261.7km.
- 12 routes managed by the province with a total length of 349.0km.
- 33 routes managed by the district with a total length of 559.5km.
In addition, about 7,000 km of river, channel capable of water transport exploitation serving the transporting of agricultural goods or small products of people.

Network of passenger waterway stations in the last years has been invested and built, ensuring the traveling and goods transport of people.

- Ca Mau fishing port: located in Ca Mau City area capable of receiving small and medium sized boats and ships (about 500 tons), its capacity is 200,000 tons/year, and an area of 42,000m2. The port serves as an entrepôt clue for sea products. From here, goods are transported to various provinces and cities, especially in markets such as Ho Chi Minh City and carry things back that Ca Mau need to consume, distribute to inner- provincial retail market spot.
- Nam Can Port: located at the upper Cua Lon River of Nam Can townlet, Nam Can District, capable of receiving vessels of 5.000 DWT. The Port is nearly 70km far from Ca Mau City, about 36km from Bo De Estuary following the Cua Lon river flows to the East. This is the main seaport of Ca Mau.

Ong Doc River Fishing Port: Located on the side of Ong Doc river estuary, with an area of 2.56ha. The port ensures to serve ships from 600 CV, connected with the upper fishing port, a storm shelter anchorage area has been invested for construction which is the first of this kind of the province, built at Ong Doc river estuary, belonging to the Song Doc townlet area, Khanh Hung, Khanh Hai, Phong Lac communes, Tran Van Thoi district. This works scale is to serve storm shelter anchorage to 1,000 fishing vessels with capacity of 50-600 CV. Anchorage area includes 3 internal bridges, the boats, embankment for ships moorage of 2,245m long, anchor post systems of 12-18 tons.

Ca Mau Airport has been restored and upgraded, its runway is 1.050mx 30m long, allowing small planes as: ATR72, AN-2, MIA-17 and second level military aircraft to land and take off. Presently, Ca Mau airport is in operation exploiting the Ca Mau - Ho Chi Minh City route and vice versa with frequency of 01 flight/day. Landing fields in Hon Khoai islet and Nam Can, when with request and having condition, they could still restore to put into use for serving tourism, national defense, security, oil and gas exploration and exploitation.
