After a period of excited and enthusiastic competition, at noon on November 10, 2024, the Marathon - Ca Mau 2024 PETROVIETNAM Cup (running race) is directed by Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Vietrace365 Joint Stock Company, and the brand sponsor Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PETROVIETNAM) closed ceremony and awarded prizes.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to male athletes with high achievements at the 42km distances.
The total number of athletes participating in this year's season is nearly 6.000 people in distances of 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, 5 km and 1.2 km and 2.4 km for young athletes aged 6 to 15. On the morning of November 10, professional and amateur athletes competed in distances of 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, 5 km. Although the weather was rainy, it did not affect the athletes' running routes much.
Support and health safety for athletes were carefully implemented. The Organizing Committee arranged stations for water, electrolytes, fruits; cooling points, so on. assigned medical staff to be on duty to promptly support athletes in recovering their physical strength. At the same time, cooling and massage points, resting and relaxing places were arranged for athletes after completing the race. Traffic police and volunteers were mobilized to the maximum to support athletes to conquer the routes conveniently and easily.

With a noble sportsmanship, the athletes have excellently completed their races. This is the third year the race has been held with a larger number of participants than previous years. The race has a strong influence, attracting a large number of people to participate and cheer enthusiastically, contributing to creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere throughout the season.
At the end of the race, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second and third prizes to athletes with high achievements at the distances of 42 km, 21 km, 10 km and 5 km. In particular, the first prizes at the distance of 42 km for men and women respectively belonged to athletes Le Tan Hi and Pham Thi Binh. In addition, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group also awarded additional prizes to outstanding athletes who are working in the Group's fields.
This year's running race is associated with the 70th anniversary of the Northern Rally (1954 - 2024). Through the race, it not only creates a playground for athletes to compete, promotes the movement of physical training and sports to improve health and human stature, but also is an opportunity for Ca Mau province to promote and introduce the potential and strengths of the locality to a large number of people at home and abroad, attracting investment and developing tourism in the coming time.
