The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council has just signed and issued a Resolution on the investment policy of the Project on land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement to expand and upgrade Ca Mau Airport.
 

The project on land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement to expand and upgrade Ca Mau Airport is an area of approximately 105.53 hectares.
 

Project Objectives: The purpose of the investment is to implement land recovery, compensation, support, and resettlement for the project to expand and upgrade Ca Mau Airport, in accordance with the Prime Minister’s approval of the investment policy and related projects, including air traffic management facilities, and other auxiliary works. The goal is to ensure the connection of infrastructure systems to support the integrated operation of Ca Mau Airport. This aligns with the Ca Mau Airport Master Plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and other related planning documents.

Project Scope: The project will involve the recovery of land, compensation, support, and resettlement over an area of approximately 105.53 hectares. This is classified as a Group A project. The total investment for the project is approximately VND863 billion. The funding will be sourced from the provincial budget under the mid-term public investment plan for 2021-2025. The project is located in Ward 6 and Tan Thanh ward, Ca Mau city, Ca Mau province. The project duration is from 2024 to 2025.

Project Implementation Timeline: In 2024, conduct investment procedures; land survey, measurement, and inventory; prepare compensation, support, and resettlement plans. By 2025, implement compensation, support, and resettlement; hand over land for construction; finalize the project investment settlement.

Expected Investment Allocation for 2025: Approximately VND 863 billion to complete the project. Project Owner: Ca Mau City People's Committee.
