On the afternoon of October 15, 2024, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice-Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Ono Masuo, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the reception, Mr. Ono Masuo - Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, thanked the leaders of Ca Mau province for your arrangement and receiving the delegation to visit the seafood processing factory in Ca Mau city. Mr. Ono Masuo said that his trip to Ca Mau province this time was to attend the handover ceremony of two projects funded by Japanese organizations and pay a courtesy visit to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, with the desire to continue to foster the friendly cooperative relationship with Ca Mau province.

On behalf of the leaders of Ca Mau province, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, happily welcomed Mr. Ono Masuo, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City to visit and pay a courtesy visit. At the same time, he informed that in the past, Japanese investors have not invested much in Ca Mau province, and if they have invested, the scale is still small. 

The leaders of Ca Mau province are very interested in and create favorable conditions for agencies and enterprises of Ca Mau province to build relationships and cooperation programs with localities of Japan in the fields of: Trade promotion, health, education, labor employment, so on. Through the assessment of management organizations, relevant departments and sectors, international students and workers working in Japan have demonstrated discipline, labor awareness and specialization in all stages, this is a good thing. These results were achieved thanks to the great support from the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam and the Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City.

Every year, Japanese organizations support Ca Mau province in implementing social security programs with about VND 1 billion; the support is not much but is very valuable, contributing to help beneficiaries stabilize their lives.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, hopes that Mr. Ono Masuo, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, will take time to visit and learn more about the potential and strengths of Ca Mau province, continue to build the friendly and affectionate relationship with Vietnam in general and Ca Mau province in particular to become stronger and more effectively.
