Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet visited and gave gifts to children at SOS Children's Village Ca Mau
On the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1), on the morning of May 31, 2023, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet as leader of the delegation visited and gave gifts to children at SOS Children's Village Ca Mau.

At the destination, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet acknowledged the efforts and efforts of the management team and staff working in child care at SOS Children’s Village in Ca Mau over time. At the same time, it is expected that the unit will continue to promote the sense of responsibility in the care, moral education and lifestyle for the children. At the same time, encourage and instruct the children living in SOS Children's Village Ca Mau to try to study and listen to their mothers to become useful people for society.
SOS Children's Village Ca Mau currently has 12 families taking care of nearly 90 children. In which, the youngest is 15 months old, the oldest is 18 years old. Most of them go to school and participate in vocational training when they finish grade 12.

After giving gifts to the children, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet went to check the reality of raising children in families. Thereby, it is suggested that the relevant sectors and the Management Board of SOS Children's Village Ca Mau pay attention to their material and spiritual lives to compensate for the loss and disadvantage that the children have to endure. For children of a young age, it is necessary to pay attention to support more milk to supplement nutrients for them to develop more comprehensively. For difficulties and problems, the unit should request the relevant authorities to consider and remove it, in order to help the Village do better in nurturing disadvantaged children in the province.
